Jumping Lessons!

 

We teach the fundamentals of hunter seat equitation with a set curriculum that is designed by our riding director. Once riders are secure and balanced on the flat, they begin to learn the basics of jumping on our experienced school horses. 

 

Jumping lessons consist of both flatwork and jumping exercises- with balanced and correct position being our priority.  Beginning or nervous jump riders can be assured that lessons will move at the appropriate pace for each individual- there is no pressure or rush. 

 

Experienced jumpers will enjoy lessoning on our outdoor course and over the natural fences set in our hunt field.  Riders interested in horse showing are encouraged to speak to our Riding Director and learn about our Hunt Seat Show Team!

 

No matter what level of experience or what goals riders have when they come to Riverdale Stables, we have the program to fit their needs.
